Frequently asked questions
Do I need to download it from an app store?
No. Spese in Casa opens in your browser and installs on the iPhone and Android home screen in seconds. It works like a regular app, with an icon, full screen and notifications.
How do I activate a plan?
Choose a plan and send your request from this page. We will email you the instructions and logins for you and the people in your household.
How does the AI prepare the shopping list?
The AI reads the products and dates on your receipts. How often you buy each product is calculated by the software; the AI uses this data to estimate what will run out before your next shop and in what quantity. The more recent receipts you upload, up to five, the more accurate the suggestion.
What happens to the receipts I upload?
They are stored in your household's space, up to a maximum of five: each new receipt replaces the oldest one. Admins can delete them at any time. Images are processed by the artificial intelligence service only to read their content.
Do notifications work on iPhone?
Yes, from iOS 16.4 onwards, once the app has been added to the home screen. Turn them on under Settings, Notifications.
Can I log future expenses, such as bills?
Yes. Each expense can have a past or future date; upcoming expenses are highlighted in the list.
